I like this book because it goes into detail on all aspects of Mass and significance (relates to historical meanings). Not a complicated read. -- Good Book to understand Mass

This book does a great job explaining the hows and whys of the Catholic Mass. It's great tool for those coming into the Church, visiting but want to know what is going on, or even those of us who have gone for years but need a reminder of why we do certain things. -- Helpful and Interesting

My husband is new to the Catholic faith and I gave him this book for Christmas. I felt that he needed to know more about our rituals, etc. I looked through the book and I really thought it needed a little more of the very basics of our faith. I think the author assumes that the reader is a life long Catholic just wanting to know more. I was wanting a book that has all of our responses, prayers, etc in it; now, I could be wrong, as I just thumbed through the book, but I do not believe that it had the things mentioned. I am sure that he will read the book and learn something, however, I am going to see if I can find a book with more of the basic Mass in it that will help a new Catholic understand what is going on during Mass. -- The How to Book of the Mass

Ok - I'm new to this Catholic thing, but this book lays it out so that you get it. All of the ins and outs make much more sense after reading this book. I gifted this as a confirmation present and even cradle Catholics have something to learn from this book. -- Wow, what?

This book helped clarify some parts of the Mass for me. It is well written, easy to understand and
