User Reviews about Human Anatomy Coloring Book (Colouring Books)
I give extra credit to my BIO 209 & 210 students for completing this book, and they all say they're surprised how much value they got from doing the coloring. Simple drawings that make it easier to understand the shape and location of various organs, and how they tie in with others. Text is straightforward and concise. It's gotten to the point now, after about 4 semesters of my using this coloring book, that students are asking for coloring books for my other classes, and A&P students want extras so their own kids can "do homework" with Mom or Dad. -- College Xtra Credit
I am using this coloring book with my 10 year old son. He enjoys coloring the pictures and reading the information contained in each page. It definitely is a great complement to our human anatomy class. This book is great for his age group but it could also be very useful for a middle age or high school student. For my 6 year old son I use My First Human Body Book, also from the Dover Coloring series. This second book is perfect for his age group and he is having a great time with it. -- Great coloring book!
This book took a long time to come but it arrived in the window of time, a little bent out of shape but good. -- Ana coloring book
The Human Anatomy Coloring Book is a wonderful learning tool. It has helped me tremendously with learning the anatomy of the human body. I have a couple other anatomy coloring books as well but they don't measure up to this one. This one goes into better detail but not so much that you need to be a doctor to understand it. It gives a brief summary on each part and instructs you to use certain colors to dramatize the picture. By far been the best coloring book for me! I would highly recommend it. One last thing - it has been the cheapest coloring book I've purchased! -- Human Anatomy Coloring Book
This book sat in our cupboard for a long time back in the early 90s. I recently just pulled it out to work on. I remember being intrigued by it, but I wasn't permitted to color it. I guess we planned to use it for home school later on when I was a kid. It is sitting in my closet now, and I realize it is a really good anatomy book which I've been working in off and on for the last year. The only qualm I've had with this book since we bought in the 90s, or whenever, is that the diagrams are not really large enough. I don't recommend it for younger children, patient teens maybe, and yes, adults who are back to being interested in Anatomy. The fact, that we've had this book around so long; it surprised me that I found it on amazon. And it isn't in the call another dealer to get it section. All-in-all a decent book for those who absolutely hate regular textbooks like I do. I recommend colored pencils. I've tried crayons, and it kind of ruined the book. Don't do a course in Biology/Anatomy without a good coloring book even if you feel you lack the time. My HS teacher used one, and it helped a great deal when we covered the human heart. I just wish I was more interested in studying back than I am now. -- Human Anatomy
